Cubiscan President, Randy Neilson Nominated as Chair of MHI's New Group, SLAM

Farmington, UT - Cubiscan - pioneer and innovator of dimensioning systems and technology announced today that company president, Randy Neilson was nominated and chosen to be chair of MHI’s new industry group, SLAM (Scan. Label. Apply. Manifest), a group focused on bringing thought leadership to the distribution and material handling industry.

At the 2021 MHI Annual Conference, Neilson participated in SLAM’s first meeting as the chair for the group. “I’m very excited about the formation of this new MHI Industry Group." Neilson said. "It will bring together experienced, successful material handling industry professionals that will leverage the power of their expertise and bring significant value to not only the material handling equipment suppliers themselves, but the customer base they serve." The mission of SLAM is to provide thought leadership for best practices on the last 100 feet of every warehouse in the world.

Neilson has been with Cubiscan for over 30 years and has a wealth of knowledge and expertise that supports SLAM's vision to be 100 feet ahead of the last 100 feet in warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment applications.

Cubiscan's Director of Sales and Marketing, Dean Simmons who will also be participating in this new group, said "Although SLAM is a new group at MHI, it's comprised of true industry thought leaders and we anticipate a great deal of collaboration and innovation to come out of these discussions."
