Cubiscan Integrated systems typically employ a controls PC as the central interface for gathering data, initiating shipping request processes, and printing processes to name just a few of the core functions.
Over the years a number of Advantech PC's have been used in CIS systems. This article is intended to define/illustrate the different models, and serve as a reference to aid in service and repair efforts of these Industrial PC's when needed.
Original Advantech Tower PC (Fan Cooled model)
All Advantech Tower PC's used in CIS Systems ran on windows 7 IoT 32 bit, and are obsolete. Most of these systems have been replaced with a new control cabinet (Box D) where applicable, and have been updated to the latest OS and software versions at the time of new equipment installation.
Gen 1 Advantech UNO (1483-G) Industrial PC (Fanless Model)
The Advantech UNO PC was used in most CIS system installations. Hundreds of these PC's are in operation today. Many run on Windows 7 IoT 32 bit OS, but most have been updated where possible to Windows 10 IoT 2016 LTSB with 64 bit OS. 
Gen 2 Advantech UNO (148-B)Industrial PC (Fanless Model)
As of December 2023 CIS Systems have been using the new model Advantech UNO which has a new look and form factor. These systems thus far have employed Windows 10 IoT 2019 LTSC 64 bit OS configurations. They are compatible with Windows 11 IoT should that upgrade be necessary in the future. This will require a new license key and upgrade process when that time comes.
OnLogic Industrial PC (Fanless Model)
For a short period (6 units in field) the OnLogic PC was used in CIS projects as a backup option during supply shortages following the Covid shutdowns. These units run on Windows 10 IoT 2019 LTSC 64 bit OS configurations as well. This has proved to be a reliable PC thus far. But, as mentioned before, only a handful have been put into service.
Touchscreen PC (Fanless Model with integrated touchscreen display)
From time to time a small, all in one style touchscreen PC has been employed in simple CIS systems where only basic software and data options require a low cost solution. There are only a handful of these PC's in use as well. In CIS Systems they operate on Windows 10 IoT 2016 LTSB with a 64 bit OS.
