Cubiscan 200TS | Non-Cuboidal Box (Error 73 In QBitIMS Window)

Non-Cuboidal Box is displayed on the Cubiscan 200TS display. Error 73 appears in Length, Width, & Height in the QbitIMS software window

A Non-Cuboidal Box error occurs when the Cubiscan determines that the package that just passed through the machine is not square enough to be considered a box.  The Cubiscan 200-TS is by design intended to handle boxes.   While it will deal with some level of irregularity in a box shape, this error is displayed when that threshold is crossed, and the Cubiscan is unsure of the proper measurements it should give due to the irregular shape of the item.

On regular boxes this error can be caused by flapping tape, a loose label, loose cardboard flaps, or other anomaly as well.   Inspect the package carefully.   If it is a regular box, run it again once the irregular issues have been resolved.    Poly Bags may work on the Cubiscan 200TS, but should be taped into the most snug boxlike shape that can be managed.  These may be hit and miss depending on how irregular they are.
